             Bug #: 118531
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: "Writer" format blows out when I close and reopen
    Classification: Application
           Product: Word processor

          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: formatting
        AssignedTo: writerneedsconfirm@openoffice.org

"Writer" document consistently loses defined formatting

When using "Writer" to prepare a resume, when I save the document, it looks as
I wish. When I reopen it, it has lost some of its formatting:
* 11-point Arial bullets have enlarged themselves; when I select the offending
bullets and reset to 11-point Arial bullets, they do reset.
* Leading space between sections of my resume blow out and widen. I must reset.
* In a Capabilities 1-page document I created, all formatting was satisfactory.
When I close and reopen, the formatting is blow, expanding leading between
sections (most of which I set at 2 points), changing the font in the final
section and kicking the final section onto a second page. (please see
attachment of this example)
* Sometimes in Writer and Impress, when I reopen a file, list items that I've
identified with round, black bullets convert to horizontal carats/"arrowheads."

I believe the formatting blows when I send offending files as MS Word documents
to recipients.
