The data is collected continuously.  That is automated.  Reports can
be manually generated, as in this case.  Or they can also be automated
and sent to the list.

Right.  You need something to correlate your other questions again.
But the data from web site visitors should help you formulate those
demographic questions.  Also, there are some things that very few
users would be able to answer.  For example , if you asked what their
screen resolution was, most real end users would either skip the
question or guess.
