Similar to for example the odftoolkit (incubating) project.

well when I looked for a name for the src release files I oriented me at 
the Apache Portable Runtime project and sub projects.

apr-1.4.6.tar.gz
apr-util-1.4.1.tar.gz
apr-iconv-1.2.1.tar.gz

And then I preferred the shot name.
