Thank you. I found out what I needed to know by downloading both pt-PT and pt-PT (pre-ao)

The maintainers of the PT language are from Minho University in Portugal, but it is António
who packets the changes to official Open Office/Thunderbird/Firefox.

The site of the dictionaries (pre and post reform) is:

Please notice that the dictionaries are or were available from OOo's site and had automatic
updates (but only the post reform because the pre needs to be installed manually).

When I bought Office 2010 Home Student I had to buy the Portuguese Dictionary as separate
from Microsoft's site since I ordered the software from Amazon and it came in English.

Kind regards,

Great; and I presume that there are no IP issues to worry about. I've had discussions with
some members of this community many years ago regarding trying to coordinate and collaborate,
so that we all--those of us doing Foss work and dictionary words and so on, and that includes
the nice people at Mozilla--do not simply duplicate effort, waste time, and sow confusion.

What procedures, then, are required to do what you want and to ensure that there will be
regular maintenance of these dictionaries?
