Yes, they do. Apparently they are the same fonts but
Google improved them.

There is an interesting comment here:

"ummm… Cousine and Liberation Mono are exactly the same? Installed both, alternated back
and forth between the fonts in FontBook on OS X, and they are exactly the same font."
