In theory: only a little, in praxis: sometimes more ;-)

./configure
make

or to benefit from more CPUs, instead of make invoke:

./bootstrap
. ./LinuxX86Env.Set.sh      (or LinuxX86-64Env.Set.sh for 64bit)
cd $SRC_ROOT/instsetoo_native && build --all -P2 -- -P3

then to do the smoketest after make or build:
cd $SRC_ROOT/smoketestoo_native && build

Complications arise if the build breaks..
