+<p>Nơi đây là trung tâm dự trữ những dụng cụ và tài liệu để cho người Việt Nam 
+tải về, sử dụng và biên soạn chương trình <b>OpenOffice.org</b> phiên bản tiếng Việt, ấn bản chính thức <b>Nguồn Mở</b> của phần mềm <b>StarOffice</b>.</p>

+<p>Trang này không phải là của bất cứ một ai, mà là của mọi người. Xin các bạn đừng ngần ngại về việc đóng góp ý kiến cùng chúng tôi để sửa đổi nơi này ngày càng tốt đẹp hơn.

+<h2>Giới thiệu</h2>
+
+<p><b>OpenOffice.org</b> là đề án phần mềm nguồn mở với mục đích qua sự đóng góp của cộng đồng những người viết phần mềm, soạn thảo ra một chương trình ứng dụng văn phòng hoạt động được với tất cả các hệ điều hành phổ biến và khai thác các chức năng và tài liệu thông qua các thành phần mở dựa trên các thư viện nguồn API và dạng hồ sơ XML.</p>

+<p><b>OpenOffice.org</b> gồm các ứng dụng soạn thảo văn bản, bảng tính điện tử, trình chiếu, xử lý đồ họa véc-tơ và soạn thảo trang mạng với tất cả những mệnh lệnh tương đương với các chương trình ứng dụng văn phòng khác và có thể thay thế được các phần mềm thương mại này. </p>

+<p>Dự án Việt hóa <b>OpenOffice.org</b> là một tiểu dự án của <b>OpenOffice.org</b> nhằm phổ cập rộng rãi hơn dự án này cũng như sản phầm này đến cộng đồng người dùng tiếng Việt.</p>

+<p>Trong khuôn khổ dự án Việt hóa <b>OpenOffice.org</b>, có một số nội dung sẽ được bám theo dự án gốc <b>OpenOffice.org</b>, bao gồm:</p>

+<li>Cung cấp tài liệu tiếng Việt</li>
+<li>Cập nhật các phiên bản Việt hóa</li>

+<li>Triển khai và tăng cường các dụng cụ ngôn ngữ (như bắt lỗi chính tả)</li>

+<p>Dự án Việt hóa <b>OpenOffice.org</b> là dự án nhỏ, không thay thế dự án <b>OpenOffice.org</b>. Vì thế bạn có thể thấy nhiều gạch nối tới phần tiếng Anh trong trang chủ này.</p>
