Subject [jira] [Commented] (MESOS-74) Create Mesos Debian Package
Date Mon, 24 Jun 2013 12:47:20 GMT

Tomas Barton commented on MESOS-74:

Thanks for comments. I removed the log_dir options and the output of master/slave is now redirected
to a log file. Does it make sense to create a few flavors of mesos? Like mesos-full (with
java), mesos-light (without java) etc. Should mesos have dependency on lxc (linux containers
package)? Is there some other dependency missing? With libssl it's similar like with java,
there must be the same version as on the system where it was built. I've tested it just on
amd64, there might be some extra work with porting it to other architectures.

for folks to download, install, and try out Mesos!
