Subject [jira] [Updated] (JSPWIKI-396) UTF-8 characters in wiki pages incorrectly rendered if served by Weblogic
Date Tue, 03 Jul 2012 13:44:33 GMT

Juan Pablo Santos Rodríguez updated JSPWIKI-396:
------------------------------------------------

    Attachment: main_de.png

Tried all the solutions noted on those links, set weblogic to start with -Dfile.encoding=utf8
but nothing happens. The page contents are correctly saved but, if I create a page called
"Ñaña", the page is saved as %C3%91a%C3%B1a.txt

Also note that all characters are incorrectly rendered, not only the page contents (see attached
screenshot).

Seems to me that weblogic, somewhere, is UTF-encoding the contents twice. I'll get a look
on this after I'm done with the maven-ant-tasks..

> The Germain Main.txt starts with Herzlichen Glückwunsch.
> If the page is served by Weblogic Server, the umlaut is rendered with FFC3 and FFBC in
Boxes, both with Firefox and IE. Served by Geronimo, it's fine.
> Herzlichen Glᅢᄐckwunsch
> Firefox page info says, page encoding is UTF-8.
