The css should use the "!important" declaration in case the style.css has overridden the colours
for the heading. Thus the css should be:

     color: transparent !important;
     line-height: 1.2;
     padding:.25em;
     text-decoration: none;
     border: none !important;
}
a.hashlink:hover {
     background-color:#eee;
     color:blue !important;
}
