Yes, and it works pretty well together with AJAX as well.

Why yes, I *do* think PAM is weird ;-)

I guess it depends on your time schedule mostly.  I think it should  
be fine on 2.8, but I'd also like to see 2.8 during this spring, and  
we're getting loads and loads of features into it...
