Subject [jira] Commented: (JSPWIKI-123) missing german date format
Date Sun, 06 Jan 2008 19:11:33 GMT

Dirk Frederickx commented on JSPWIKI-123:

If you want, you can change the PreferencesTab.jsp and adjust it to your needs.

We could also move those predefined time format definitions to the file
so it's more easy for an admin to find/adjust the settings.

> Via jspwiki.defaultprefs.template.dateformat in one can freely define
the standard date format for a JSPWiki installation.
> Unfortunately the user preferences page isn't that flexible. One may argue whether the
static drop down list is ok or if a user should be able to enter his own format, too.
> Independent from this, the list is lacking date formats for Germany. We use dots as date
separators and the order day.month.year:
> dd.MM.yyyy
