I'm not 100% sure the adding the <div> wrapper around all images doesn't have any other
side-effects.

How do we treat inline images ? 


I'd prefer for the time being to be a bit reluctant on inserting server side stuff to hack
around limitations of a browser, even it that is the most popular one ;-)
