Subject [jira] Updated: (HISE-92) Hise should use shared security entities between hise-fe and hise-web components
Date Thu, 23 Sep 2010 11:48:33 GMT

Akhilesh Singh updated HISE-92:

    Attachment: patch.patch

This patch file provides solution to merging the user store between hise-fe and hise-web.
Following changes are necessary for this:

1) As both fe and web need simulteneous access to user database, H2 must run in server mode.
This patch assumes H2 is started in standalone mode on default port.

2) OrgEntity has been extended to include role and enabled as required by spring security.

3) H2 dependency has been updated to version 1.2.143. This is done to make use of H2 console
easy for people who wants to see whats happening at backend. Currently this release is shown
at H2 site as default download option.

4) H2 dependency has been added in hise-fe.

> Hise-fe currently uses XML user service in spring security configurations. This forces
user to create database records in hise-web which should be same with the ones configured
in hise-fe. Better is to share user database between hise-fe and hise-web for short term and
remove complete dependency on ws-security in long term. HTTPS is more perfromant alternative
to ws-security.
