Subject [jira] [Commented] (HAMA-374) Add LocalBSPRunner for local testing of BSPs
Date Mon, 11 Apr 2011 12:47:06 GMT

Thomas Jungblut commented on HAMA-374:

Sorry, last post was written from mobile.
This was intended to be a equivalent to Hadoop's LocalJobRunner. You can simply run your jobs
as a main method and step through the code in your IDE. And with adding the adress of the
cluster to your conf you are able to submit this to the real cluster. Therefore the conf.get("bsp.master.address").

You can try this by just calling the main method of pi estimator:

java hama-0.3.0-examples.jar org.apache.hadoop.examples.PiEstimator

Hope this gonna work, never tried from a bash.

jobSubmitClient in the BSPJobClient to a local version if the master adress is null.
