Subject Q, flush() and split tablets.
Date Tue, 20 Jan 2009 17:01:49 GMT
Hi,

I noticed that HBase added flush() lately. So, It was added to reduce
network latencies of RPC request? I guess, It'll be great if the
clients have been detached from HBase cluster and the clients are
real-time app.

BTW, If clients are reduce tasks and we don't need to re-split them
(each client cache data) during run bulk processing, we need only
assignment them at their region server? Otherwise, Is there more fast
way to build tablets?
