It makes formal what is currently happening and what should be happening in= successful projects (and podlings).=20 The help and support is there. There is a sh*t ton of Incubator docs; almos= t a page for every possible thing you could think of. Ask the current set of RMs on the podlings how easy it = is to navigate?=20 And beyond the docs, the safety net is there. You're ignoring that there is= a VP for each project, responsible to the board,=20 and there is a PMC for each project that should consist of people that get = along and care. And my proposal says 3 of=20 them should be ASF members. If in that sea of membership above for an incoming project, we can't mentor= , train, or muster 3 VOTEs, why the hell is the project here at the ASF?
