Oracle has stated that they are committed to supporting the transition into Apache.  But I
think the only way, as a practical matter, to guarantee that the podling can build OOo from
the sources is for the podling to try building OOo from the sources.  That is the easiest
and most accurate way of figuring this out.  All other ways are much more error prone.
