This is the next gen folks. And you tried it for a reason before it turned into an essential thing you don't want to go back from. For people who don't know distributed SCMs its a different beast. Its a different branch of developers you attract at the current point in ti= me. In 5 yrs things will look different. I just question if ASF wants that.
