AFAIK Tuscany use Axis2/C to allow SCA components to be invoked via web services calls. Alexander Broekhuis said that he is looking for a tool which use lighter protocol instead of Axis2/C. In that case using SCA instead of Axis2/C won't help. Also in Axis2/C there was an effort to make it embeddable (Android). So if Celix would go with Axis2/C that effort could be revived.
