It worked wonders for Wicket when we came to ApacheCon EU in 2007 (and graduated roughly a month after that). You won't be able to comprehend "Community" to the fullest if you haven't visited ApacheCon. If you are unable to attend on your own terms, perhaps this initiative will help you come to ApacheCon.
