Subject Re: Lucene.Net project status?
Date Sat, 11 Mar 2006 06:08:11 GMT
Thanks for the reply, George. I copied you on my original email to the
mailing list, sent to george@aroush.net.

It sounds as if we need more hands on this project to get things going.
There's pent up demand from several of us in the community to see
improvements in lucene.net, and many are willing to chip in. George, your
personal efforts to get this rolling are very much appreciated, but greater
progress will be made when the project allows more effective participation
from others.

To aid in this, I'll do whatever is needed to finalize the web project
setup, find out about svn access, and familiarize myself with the incubation
process. I wish to participate as a committer, and it sounds as if we need
an understanding of how things work, so I'll roll up my sleeves and jump
in. It sounds as if several things are in place; I'll take on the task of
seeing the i's are dotted and t's are crossed.

Any advice or guidance is well appreciated.

cheers,
-- jeff r.
