doubt we'll need many :D

works well.

I doubt that's an issue. If people use maven or forrest, the commits to 
monitor are those
to the source files. Also, imagine people being smart and using cvs 
import (just one
commit message per import), or mail readers being smart and filtering 
out these commit
messages.

what I like about keeping a site in cvs is that you can use the same 
tools for website management
we use for code management. Reduces the number of tools. Good.

imho, no. But I wouldn't mind, either.

what do you mean by 'directly'? People using ssh to log in to
minotaur and have them generate the documentation there?

I think so. Some projects need to get off their %@&* and
invest the effort to properly set up their site.
