there are a quite a few other places on the jakarta site that i'd like to 
update once the time is right :)

jakarta is quite widely read. so (to use a retail metaphor), i thought 
that it'd be best to wait until the incubator is 'open for business' 
rather than just 'dressing the store ready for the opening'.

maybe once tapestry completes it's transition and is officially a project 
under incubation (as opposed to a project that's being transferred to the 
incubator), that'd be the time to announce the world that the incubator is 
open for business.

i also think that it'd be a good idea to post an announcement that 
tapestry is an ASF project under incubation to the

comments, anyone?
