Subject [PATCH] some clean ups
Date Mon, 04 Nov 2002 23:34:15 GMT
hi all together...

I had some spare time to get deeper into forrest and also did some
clean-ups on the incubator-site. Attached the patches for review and
commit. find below a short description of the changes per file:

  - incubator-site/src/documentation/skinconf.xml:
    fixed the link of the Incubator-/Feather-logo to point to
    incubator.apache.org instead of apache.org;
    removed / commented out the credits links

  - incubator-site/src/documentation/content/xdocs/tabs.xml:
    removed useless comment;
    changed <tab href="..."> to <tab dir="..."> ! WITHOUT this
    the tabs will be borked and have no links !!

  - incubator-site/src/documentation/content/xdocs/whoweare.xml:
    fixed some xml-typos (title, abstract,...); added correct headline
    and added a note about the purpose. Also added my and Jim's info.

  - incubator-site/src/documentation/content/xdocs/resolution.xml:
    removed additional <section> & <title/>

  - incubator-site/src/documentation/content/xdocs/book.xml:
    fixed link to the 'the Apache Way' doc (drafts/...)

  - incubator-site/src/documentation/content/xdocs/index.xml:
    removed the last section (notes), we also have this in scrapbook.xml;
    removed useless <fixme> section;
    added link to the HTTP Server Project guidelines
    (http://httpd.apache.org/dev/guidelines.html)

BTW, the following files are obsolete and can be removed safely:

  - incubator-site/src/documentation/content/xdocs/sample.xml
  - incubator-site/src/documentation/content/xdocs/scrapbook.xml
    (perhaps this doc will be helpful in the future?)

And another one for all the forrest guys:
In every footer line there are to two dots instead of only one..
for example 'All rights reserved..' (see also xml.apache.org)

how can this be fixed? forrest xml's/xsl's?

more to come tomorrow ;-)

cheers,
erik
