Subject Re: alternatives to flash builder

I tried Flashbuilder 4.7 for a few days as well, this release is a total
embarassment.
The very first .as file I opened resulted in an exception, so I couldn't
even edit a file.
I'm having a creeping feeling that 4.7 will be the last ever FB release, I
don't think Adobe
is really interested in maintaining it.
IntelliJ is probably the best choice, but as folks already said, the
workflow takes a little
getting used to. FDT will probably be easier because its also Eclipse
based, therefore
the terminologies and structures will be more familiar to you.
But taking the time to learn IntelliJ will pay off in the end, it'll make
you a happy developer
again :)
