Not ever major release of every framework provides a clear migration path.
Sometimes it is time to leave the old be and move on to a brighter, better
future.

It certainly could be more useful now, but there is an EOL on the current
path. Some of us want to think of and work on life after dependency on
Adobe technologies. Flash used to be the path for platform ubiquity, that
story is long dead.
