I'm not that familiar with writing eclipse plugins, but does anyone know
if it is possible to communicate with Eclipse via a socket or some other
local communications mechanism? If that were possible, an AIR-based DV
tool could exchange information with eclipse. While not a built-in, part
of the IDE window, solution, this is might be a good solution.
