The annotations will most likely only conflict if you are using Tide in
combination with Parsley, which in turn would probably not be such a good
idea since they overlap in functionality.

We have successfully integrated GraniteDS in a very large application using
Spring ActionScript and it worked like a charm. We even created some custom
hooks into Spring AS to initialize the GraniteDS configuration on the
client side.

Overall, our experience with GraniteDS and the team behind it is very
positive, which is quite in contrast with the experience we had with LCDS
(note that I'm not talking about BlazeDS).
