To start, probably something based on Falcon JS. There is probably two to three years work to get something useful along these lines. I can't predict where the world will be in that time so yes, something could come along that makes it completely obvious that this effor= t is not required. However, my current motivation for working on it is this: some large companies have lots of Flex code and want a plan where, if Flash were to somehow disappear, they could leverage some of their knowledge and code to get to the HTML/JS/CSS world. Maybe the Flex development paradigm is so awesome that it will attract new folks, but it doesn't matter to me i= f it does or doesn't.
