Oleg Sivokon commented on FLEX-18:
----------------------------------

There was a "recommended" use before to, for example, merge AIR SDK and Flex SDK - in which
case that information about playerglobal may or may not be correct.

However, what I'm saying, is that from the user standpoint, it would be more interesting to
know what playerglobal libraries the SDK is able to use, rather than what library it used
for it's own compilation. Besides, i reckon, there are pieces of SDK that may use older playerglobal
library (all the built-in graphics, such as icons etc - they are compiled from Flash IDE (Assets.swf)
as far as I can tell, and haven't been updated in a long time).

FYI, that file is also used in FD to display the version of the SDK, not sure about other
editors.

> The name element in flex-sdk-description.xml should include the flash player version
and locale that the Flex SDK was compiled with.
