Independence from Adobe would be a good thing. But we have been cautioned many times already about trying to create roadmaps for an Apache project. It doesn't matter how many folks care about cross-compilation or if we somehow state that is or isn't in the vision. The only thing that matters is if someone actually makes it happen. AFIAK, there are no Adobe barriers related to the cross-compilation issue. But I don't want to spend any more time discussing it right now. We need t= o get a couple of regular release in ActionScript as we know it out the door. --=20 Alex Harui Flex SDK Team Adobe Systems, Inc. http://blogs.adobe.com/aharui
