We have the JIRA bug base which is a way for people to submit patches that
can potentially get committed to source control by an Apache Flex
committer.

For now we're just waiting for Adobe to import the bug base history so
people can start working on that.

Anyone can work on whatever they want - obviously it will need to be
validated and there is no absolute guarantee your work will make it in.

There will be additional guidelines and style guides coming out.

There is also a concept of a whiteboard - an experimental area where people
can contribute things that can potentially make it in or are being
researched.

If you're not a committer the best way for now is to create a thread
showing what you like to contribute and see if a committer is interested to
get it up on source control.

Hope this helps,
Peter
