Probably the proper OOP solution would be to use
GeneratedQuery.send(), SuperQueryFromHell.send() etc.
I know that it's not always possible e.g. for remote inrerfaces but I
doubt if it's worth implementing (hack together) the controversial
feature just for very specific usecases.
