ok, but the same could be said anytime you publish a jar file. once published, the name is
as much part of the api as anything else. for instance, as we are able to standardize some
apis enough to build interesting libraries around them, changing the api's name would be disastrous.

that said, those of us that are purists can avoid doing that.

if the feature is going to be added for java, please consider doing it for csharp, c, etc.
