Comment:
Performed some simple streamlining of the OpenOffice.org report

  --------------------
  OpenOffice.org

- Apache OpenOffice.org is comprised of six personal productivity applications: a word processor
(and its web-authoring component), spreadsheet, presentation graphics, drawing, equation editor,
and database.
-
- OpenOffice.org entered incubation 2011-06-13
-
The three most important things that our podling must address toward incubation are:

  1) Migration of the legacy OpenOffice.org website's content and services to Apache infrastructure,
including defect tracking and wiki instances which have undergone significant customizations.

  * How has the community developed since the last report?

+ OpenOffice.org entered incubation 2011-06-13. This is our first report.
- This is our first report, but since incubation started we have elected five new Committers/PPMC
members. The initial set of committers have been working their way through the ICLA submission
and account creation procedures.
-
- Under the guidance of our Mentors, we are getting an introduction to the Apache Way and
decision making in Apache projects. We are gradually getting accustomed to the fact that
no one is going to step in tell us what to do, but that we need to apply a combination of
lazy consensus and JFDI.

  * How has the project developed since the last report?

- This is our first report, but since incubation started we have had intense discussions on
migration of code repositories and other pieces of project infrastrcture. Do we migrate the
existing OpenOffice.org as-is? Or do we take the opportunity now to do some "house cleaning"
and start with a more streamlined website?

We have also created a podling project web site: http://incubator.apache.org/openofficeorg/
