Subject [jira] [Commented] (CRUNCH-52) Writing to a text file with avro types fills a file with the tostring of AvroWrapper

Robert Chu commented on CRUNCH-52:
----------------------------------

We could try and modify AvroWrapper's toString method to delegate to the datum it contains.
Given that PTypes can change the types being written by output formats, would it make sense
to include some mechanism to select & configure an output format based upon the ptype's
family?

> Currently when writing a pcollection to a text file (provided by To.textFile(...)) TextOutputFormat
doesn't unwrap avro types.
