Subject SV: Debian package 0.11.0 stable?
Date Mon, 02 May 2011 14:44:12 GMT
Late reply here. Great to hear there might be some progress. If CouchDB wants to profile itself
for fault tolerance/scalable it should be easy to deploy on multiple servers. A deb package
makes that a breeze. Basho's riak has succeeded very well in that matter.

That said, I would love to help out. I am newcomer when it comes to deb package building,
but will gladly test and maybe submit simple patches. Robert, is it possible to fork your
deb somehow? Can issues be reported somewhere?

Jens

"Or simply maintain a ppa on launchpad"

I started this, haven't reached a level I'm happy with, but I'll pursue it.

infrastructure? Heh. That could take me hours to compile. It is distributed across loads of
different sites. Depending on what you're packaging, with whom, and what you want to do, or
know, about that effort.
