Hi Angeline, 

I saw the logs and read them, but they are just outout from bash scripts. 

The lines below from the attached logs mean that full logging is not turned on for the agent:

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.apache.commons.httpclient.params.DefaultHttpParams).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
log4j:WARN See http://logging.apache.org/log4j/1.2/faq.html#noconfig for more info.

If you do:
cp /usr/local/cloud/systemvm/conf/log4j{-cloud,}.xml

You will get more complete logs which should show why you're hitting an InstantiationException.
