Subject [jira] [Commented] (CLOUDSTACK-104) Failed to update SSL Certificate
Date Wed, 19 Sep 2012 16:29:08 GMT

Rohit Yadav commented on CLOUDSTACK-104:

I think your firewall is blocking ports used by CS management server. Next goto Global settings->search
for host and set it to your IP (in case you have multiple NICs CS fails to pick the correct
mgmt IP and somtimes sets localhost).

>From the tcp dump I see
- a GET on http://cloud-mgmt.ouitech.adm:8080/client/api?command=uploadCustomCertificate&response=json&sessionkey=<somekey>&certificate=<somedata>
- GET request to listPods, listCapacity, listHosts etc.

>From the UI, you should be able to upload a X.509 compliant SSL key from Infrastructure->topbar.
Hope that helps. Let's know if you're still not able to update SSL key for your mgmt server.
Note: this API is to set SSL key for the mgmt server (https to mgmt server and secure all
the traffic from/to the mgmt server API calls) and not for a user VM.
