Reto Bachmann-Gmür commented on CLEREZZA-419:
---------------------------------------------

I see that the Literlfactory serializes a Date object using the local timezone. A date object
is just a point in time so I agree that adding the local timezone to generate a literal is
arbitrary and its better to use UTC. When parsing the LiteralFactory accepts any TimeZone.

> When Clerezza serializes a date value it uses the local timezone of the server. This
should be changed to be always UTC.
> Reason is that in clustered environments you don't want different output depending on
the local time zone of the server where Clerezza is running. The same issue came up in Stanbol
(STANBOL-76) and since Stanbol relies on Clerezza this may be something that should be addressed
by Clerezza, too.
