My consistency level is 1 and I did not set any replication factor. I am using Hector API for
getting data and don't know whether they are asynchronous or not.

Is ur client code calling with asyncrhynous requests?? and whats ur
replication factor and read consistency level.

In any case, 2 nodes might take as much time as one, but should not be
slow (unless u also doubled the data)...
