Subject Exceptions related to thrift transport
Date Wed, 21 Mar 2012 11:02:59 GMT
Hi Cassandra Users,

A couple of questions on the server side exceptions that I see sometimes -

1. org.apache.thrift.TException: Message length exceeded: 134218240

n How to configure message length?

2. org.apache.thrift.protocol.TProtocolException: Missing version in readMessageBegin,
old client?

- How to rectify this exception?

Some related client side Exceptions are -

1. org.apache.thrift.transport.TTransportException: Broken

2. me.prettyprint.hector.api.exceptions.HectorTransportException: org.apache.thrift.transport.TTransportException

Caused by: org.apache.thrift.transport.TTransportException: null

Using Hector as client. The queries are writes to CF with indexes.

The frequency of these exceptions are very low.
