It's the "live" data load. The SSTables which have not been compacted, their may be compacted
SSTables still on disk. 

Normally people see the live data load reported by the nodetool is less than the usage from
du. 

Can you double check, perhaps raise a Jira ticket if you have some repo steps or some other
data.
