Der is no cheap kinda thing in cassandra because data is distributed in multiple servers. I advice you to test on ur LAN only. You can do benchmark testing to test real conditions. I use 64 bit linux (ubuntu) with 4GB RAM that is more than sufficient to play around. _______________________________________________________________________ *Samal Gora**i* On Sat, Sep 4, 2010 at 12:05 PM, vineet daniel wrote: > Hi > > I am just curious to know if there is any hosting company that provides > servers at a very low cost, wherein I can install cassandra on WAN. Hi

I am j= ust curious to know if there is any hosting company that provides servers a= t a very low cost, wherein I can install cassandra on WAN. I have cassandra= setup in my LAN and want to test it in real conditions, taking dedicated s= ervers just for testing purposes is not at all feasible for me not even pay= -as-you go types. I'd really appreciate if anybody can share informatio= n on such hosting providers.
