Subject [jira] [Created] (CB-1672) "alert" calls don't stack as they do on other platforms
Date Thu, 18 Oct 2012 09:14:03 GMT
Matthew Baxter-Reynolds created CB-1672:
-------------------------------------------

             Summary: "alert" calls don't stack as they do on other platforms
                 Key: CB-1672
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1672
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Windows 8
            Reporter: Matthew Baxter-Reynolds
            Assignee: Jesse MacFadyen

Run this code on Windows 8 and you only get one MessageDialog instance appear:

    <script type="text/javascript">
        $(document).ready(function() {

            // wire up...
            navigator.notification.alert("Foobar.");
            navigator.notification.alert("Barfoo.");

        });
    </script>

Run it on iOS and you'll get two message (albeit not tidily).

We either need to create a queue, or document it as a quirk.
