Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-1672) "alert" calls don't stack as they do on other platforms
Date Thu, 18 Oct 2012 13:46:03 GMT

Patrick Mueller commented on CB-1672:

Ya, fine to mark this as a quirk. I'd say just generically. All cordova alert() mechanisms
are best effort, YMMV, there are probably better tools you should be using, etc.

BTW, I had assumed that when you are mentioning Win8, you were talking about running some
desktop browser on Win8, just realized you must be talking about Cordova/win8. Also assumed
you thought the win8 behavior was what you wanted to see on iOS, but it's vice versa. I agree
with that. alert() should be synchronous, if there is any possibility of making that happen.

Sorry for the diversion. Outta my league at this point (I think).
