Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-1372) Orientation issue when status bar is hidden
Date Tue, 18 Sep 2012 18:50:08 GMT

will prater commented on CB-1372:

device-height in the Cordova 2.1 html template, so it may happen more often than you think.

The developer docs state that it'll be inferred anyhow:

You do not need to set every viewport property. If only a subset of the properties are set,
then Safari on iOS infers the other values. For example, if you set the scale to 1.0, Safari
assumes the width is device-width in portrait and device-height in landscape orientation.
Therefore, if you want the width to be 980 pixels and the initial scale to be 1.0, then set
both of these properties.

> If I manually hide the status bar in the AppDelegate after the forceStartupRotation routine,
issues persist after dismissing the CDVCamera.
> Im hiding the status bar as such
> [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarHidden:true
> withAnimation:UIStatusBarAnimationNone]
> My application is setup to only run as UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight in mainViewController#shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation
> If Im to pull up the CDVCamera with takePicture and then dismiss it, the app appears
to be in UIInterfaceOrientationPortrait.
