Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-668) FileTransfer - UploadOptions does not deserialize Params
Date Tue, 19 Jun 2012 18:39:42 GMT

Filip Maj commented on CB-668:

Yep, can't use {{DataContractJsonSerializer}} [if you have nested objects in your JSON|].

We're probably going to have to switch to {{System.Json}} for FileTransfer.

> The JSON Deserializer, 'DataContractJsonSerializer' cannot deserialize a Dictionary<T1,T2>.
It therefore crashes when trying to deserialize the 'Params' member of the UploadOptions object
when performing an upload.
> A workaround I am using for the moment is to utilise json.NET instead, to deserialize.
If this is used, make sure all deserializable objects that have defined objects as members
have a default constructor (eg add a basic constructor to FileEntry)
