Filip Maj commented on CB-924:
------------------------------

I've pushed up updates to the mediascanner branch.

Works on both ICS and Gingerbread. Two issues though:

- pictures NOT saved to the photo album can't have the exif headers re-written to them. For
some reason the Android exif helper can't get a reference to the file (which is in the app
jail).
- pictures saved to the photo album leave a empty (blank) image in the gallery. wtf...

> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: Android
> Environment: This seems to be default behaviour on a Nexus S running 2.3.6 (always
saves to Gallery regardless of option specified)
> On a Galaxy Nexus running 4.0.2, it _never_ seems to save to Gallery.

> {{CameraOptions}} support a property {{saveToPhotoAlbum}}, which is not implemented on
Android.
> Allows for a a returned picture from the {{getPicture}} API to be saved directly to the
Gallery application upon taking the picture.
